Freck's Friday Fancies LXXIII

Okay. I know a third of the female blogosphere is posting about this, but I cannot help myself. I must hop on the bandwagon because well, I always post what I'm fancying for that week...and well, darnit I'm super duper fancying BLHDN this week!

Oh, also, I know you're all like, why did you post this on a Thursday? Well, because today is my Friday...and..it's my blog so I can do what I want! ;)

Where was I? Oh that's right...

These lucky gals got a sneak peak of the new Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters wedding line BLHDN (pronounced Beholden, which means "to keep" in Dutch) in Philly. I have some Dutch in me so that makes me a teensy bit more excited! Ever since I laid eyes on these numbers I've been drooling my face off. I personally don't think I could pull any of these off but man I still want to try them on anyway. See?

Will You Be My...

Because I searched high and low and couldn't find any perfectly perfect and creative ideas to ask my girlies to be my bridesmaids, I wanted to post what I ended up doing. Although this idea may not be perfectly perfect, it is kind of creative and hopefully my fellow (and future) Bride's-to-be will feel some inspiration when they need to ask their girls (or boys) to be their bridesmaids.


My apologies about the lame photos, what's a girl to do with a plain Jane camera and bad lighting? I digress.

The card and envelope are from Paper Source and the front of the envelope read "Will you by my..." and the red heart said "Bridesmaid?"


Not bad, right? It was supposed to appear as though they were receiving a valentine, then surprise! Don't worry, they've all received their cards so I'm not blowing any surprises :) I kind of love 'em.

Genius.

I've been having a very difficult time finding a fantastic bridesmaid dress for all the girls. Call me crazy for jumping into this detail so early, but hey, I've been a bridesmaid a handful of times and gosh darnit the bridesmaids dresses are just as big of a deal as the bride's!

I'm starting to wonder if this genius idea should be the way to go...

I mean, how genius is this bride? The girls get to wear whatever style and color they want, as long as it corresponded well with the paint swatch she gave the girls.

I kind of love it. We'll see, plenty of time..plenty of time...

My fellow Chicagoans, stay safe out there!! Can you believe we had the third worst blizzard in Chicago's history?!
