Welcome to Freck's brain, some of you may already be aware of how random I am.

First of all, holy toledo your comments have made me even more excited about getting neutral pumps. I plan on picking some up on Thursday after work (if not earlier online). I'll be sure to share once I do :)

Next up, did anyone see Christian Siriano's show on Monday night? Yes, the kid who coined the adjective, "fierce!" Holy cow, he's just adorable! I never watched him on Project Runway, obviously he's a great designer, but he seems like a hilarious and wonderful person, too. I want to put him in my pocket.



The Miz. Does anyone remember this kid from the Real World who would walk around the house acting like a wrestler goon? Yeah, well he's totally on WWE now, his dream, and my goodness it is HILARIOUS.

Last but certainly not least, tonight is an exciting night for TBF. The short film (that TBF is the lead in) is premiering tonight in Chicago and I'm so very excited for him. The process has taken about a year and a half, so you can imagine how excited I am (and nervous he is) to have it finally be finished and come out. Good vibes would definitely be appreciated :)

I haven't picked a favorite yet, but I have a feeling Evan Lycecek and Nicole Scherzinger are going to go a long way!

One day down. Two days to go until Thanksgiving break! I'm torn between leaving on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. I'd love to just get there on Wednesday night but it's deer hunting season in central Illinois and I really don't want to risk getting in an accident with a deer. For those of you who aren't familiar with how stupid deer are, they're extremely stupid, they run TO the headlights of cars. Awesome, huh?

Who saw DWTS last night?! They all did so well :) Of course I'm still rooting for Kelly, although she likely won't win. She's come so far! I wasn't impressed with Mya's last dance. For those of you who aren't fans of DWTS, you're in luck, tonight is the finale which means I'll stop talking about it for awhile! Hooray!

Did anyone see Lady Gaga on Jay Leno last night? She was fabulous, check her out!

Weekend Recap

I spent the weekend in DC with TBF, his fam and friends and had a blast. Yesterday was spent recovering back home in the Chi. I’m busier than ever at work today so today’s post will be short and sweet.

It’s FREEZING today compared to what the weather was like when I left Chicago on Friday! Now it’s really starting to feel like the holidays. Turkey day is right around the corner, yikes!

Okay, not quite this cold, but it feels like it!!!

Thank you to those of you who gave your dry shampoo advice! I’m looking forward to trying them out, I just hate how pricey they all are.

Did anyone watch Dancing With The Stars last night? Man oh man, every time Kelly O danced, tears starting welling up. Ridiculous. I just love her and I really hope she makes it to the final two.


Does anyone watch Castle? It’s on right after DWTS and I always find myself getting sucked in and loving it every time.

Luscious Nordies Dresses + Random Thoughts

Hump day already?! Hooray!

Random thoughts:

• Love the Nordies dresses below...hello decent prices. Yes, the bottom one is a little pricey, but I think it's so fun, I couldn't resist.
• I almost cried during Dancing With The Stars last night because I thought Kelly Osbourne was going to be kicked off. No joke. She wasn't even close to being kicked off. I adore her.
• I looooved the dance to Taylor Swift's Love Story on DWTS last night, too. I don't really love that song, but the dance was amazing. Check it out!
  

• I definitely started crying during Biggest Loser when Abby requested to go home (and did). Did anyone see this?! Wow, that woman is inspirational.
• Uh...hormonal much, Freck?
• I'm having a serious Target itch but I know better than to go right now because there will be so many crazies there for last minute Halloween decor, candy and costumes. Which means lots of kids. Which means lots of crying and screaming. Which means I'll get annoyed and it will ruin my idea of a perfect Target trip...I digress.
  
• I still love the scarves from yesterday's post. Especially the last yellow one.

Smorgasbord Thursday

A couple miscellaneous things...

I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday. I was very disappointed when I realized it was only Thursday and I only got about 5 1/2 hours of sleep. Awesome. Yes, I'm a baby and I can't fully function without at least 7 hours of sleep.
Is anyone watching Dancing With The Stars?? If so, how cute is Kelly Osbourne?! She tries so hard and looks great. She's lost weight, shes just so cute. Anyone with me on that one?

I would now like to share my easy and delicious go-to salsa chicken recipe. TBF and I have made this so many times now because it's so darn easy and delicious. You'll thank me.

• Grab 2 boneless chicken breasts
• Prep the oven to 375*
• Prep the chicken (get rid of fat, maybe do a little meat tenderizing action)
• Rub taco seasoning on both sides of the chicken breasts and place on lightly greased baking sheet
• Cover chicken breasts with plenty of salsa, don't be shy, salsa isn't bad for you!
• Bake for 20 minutes
• Sprinkle mexican cheese blend over the chicken breasts
• Bake for 5 more minutes
• All done when the juices run clear!

*Super yummy with sour cream*

Totally spilled wine on my neutral fabric couch. Awesome. All fabric cleaners leave a ring. What's a Freck to do?
