Seeing this gets me EXTREMELY excited because I think I've succumb to doing all of my Christmas shopping online, which would make FREE SHIPPING very convenient.
...and then have at the top of the email in teeny letters "free shipping on all orders of $175 or more"...
Makes me upset, J. Crew, and you know I don't like to be upset with you because you have amazing items like these...
$okay, I'd get free shipping on this...oh you know mama Freck has been notified that this beauty is indeed on my Christmas list..

i've been very angry at j.crew lately. high prices, annoying free shipping promotions, but cute clothes. UGH.

I have a love/hate relationship with J. Crew also. I rememeber years ago, free shipping from them, meant free shipping and included Canada, none of that over $150 or $175 crap.
I agree! And it seems EVERY other company is offering better "free shipping" deals for spending less even if it's for a small window of time. Luckily I have a store not too far away!
I totally agree! Why the spending limit? I do a lot of online shopping and I don't buy unless it is free shipping!

Hehe....if you happen to be a complete nerd (like me) and look back through old catalogs, you'll see how much they've gone up on their prices. I understand inflation is one thing, but now it's a bit ridiculous. Plus, with the First Lady being such a fan, the prices are probably only going to rise.
I got an e-mail today to become a fan of J.Crew on Facebook. The free shipping promo? Good until tomorrow. :)
