The moment has arrived, it's so nice to finally meet all of you! TBF did an excellent job creating this video and I definitely cried the first couple of times I viewed it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. So without further ado, (I've been looking forward to saying this for awhile...)

The Video Reveal Date

Guess what?!

TBF has created the first draft of my video reveal (click on this to learn more details about how I'm going to be revealing myself through video) and it may end up being the final draft because I adore it so much. Well, I don't adore myself, I adore the sweet details he included.

SO. Next Thursday will likely be THE day I post the video reveal. Please feel free to email me to get the password (as it will be password protected). Psh I'm not THAT excited.

From what I understand, the video will simply be posted on here and there will be a spot where you're able to type in the password for it to play. Is this right?

Video Reveal Deets

So since I cannot for the life of me make a video of myself without thinking "whoa, that's so not me," TBF has come up with a genius idea. Man, this guy rocks.

We're going to my parents house this weekend to (hopefully) meet my new niece and nephew. TBF has a hand-held camera and wants to film me when I'm my most natural self. Doesn't he rock?

I also think he wants to do this because he saw all of the vid-veal attempts and didn't like any because it doesn't look like me, the true Freck, and I agree.

Weekend Recap + Vid Deets + TBF's Bday + Auntie Freck

And hello everyone. I'll try not to be as craptastic of a blogger these days.

So, here's the dealio - In order to do this video reveal, I need to make and edit the actual recorded portion of yours truly on my mac, possibly have TBF present for a cameo, and then upload it to Vimeo nice and slowly to ensure all my privacy needs are met (aka, get a friggen password so only you people can see it and not rando's and potential work people)

For those of you who have already emailed me to request the video password, bless your hearts. I'm so happy you're excited!

So as you can see the process may take a bit longer than expected, but it's definitely in the works :)

Anywho, the weekend recap! It was all about TBF this weekend because Sunday was his birthday and a certain someone's graduation was on his birthday last year so he didn't get much birthday boy attention then. I more than made up for it this year with dinner at this outstanding restaurant, clothes, Dim Sum (click for definition) in Chinatown, a surprise Skytour out on Lake Michigan,

a personalized and FRIGGEN delicious Whole Foods chocolate cake

He loves cheese, and I couldn't find tissue paper so I ripped out my VS catalog and used that for his wrapped gifts. Classy, huh?

and last but certainly not least, a Cubs game last night. Phew!


Do you see why I've been a bad blogger lately? I am saddling myself up as we speak and hopefully the vid-veal (yep, shortened it) will more than make up for my blogging or lack thereof.

Also, my apartment looks like a bomb exploded in it because I didn't get to pay much attention to it this weekend. I keep thinking that I'll make my bed, and then throw everything on it that I need to put away...yeah this doesn't work. I actually did this and I end up just moving the pile somewhere else and letting things fall on the floor on my way. (Heaven forbid I take more than one trip). It's starting to become an issue.

Any tips on how to de-clutter a studio apartment efficiently?

Alright, off to de-clutter now (pfft) with American Idol, DWTS, Glee and The Hills in the background (that I'll most likely end up sitting down and watching with the pile still on my bed).

P.S. I'm officially an aunt again. My other sister in law (who I helped host the shower for) just had her baby tonight. Caitlynn Alice is healthy and beautiful. Can't wait to meet her!!

Weekend Recap + A Reveal?!

It's going to be a big week people.

Big things are happening.

Ok not really, well, sort of.

Let's do the weekend recap first.

Friday was spent relaxing after work. It was a long week after getting back from a glorious vaca.

Saturday I was overzealous at the gym and did intervals on the treadmill for 6 miles, so I felt awesome and apparently wacked out on endorphins because later when TBF and I were Ikea, my right ankle was ticked. I'm not sure if it's a stressed induced injury on the tendon on the right side of my right ankle or if I sprained my ankle or something, but let me tell you it was starting to become muy difficult to walk around that mall and I didn't really feel anything when I'd gotten off the treadmill. Maybe I should stretch better next time? Not do so much at once?


Sunday TBF and I were good kids and went to mass in the burbs, and it happened to be First Communion. These kiddies were CUTE but man was the mass long, might have been some karma for being bad and not having gone since Easter...

After some chit chatting with TBF's fam (love 'em), we went to Trader Joes (AKA the holiest of grocers because it's so stinking cheap)


and then home-bound where TBF (who's become quite the chef) made me a spruced up, delicious turkey burger.


Then of course, I watched the new episode of Kendra, which I LOVE. Yeah I know this picture is a little raunchy, but it's just kind of them. Ya know?

I didn't mean to go into that much detail about my weekend, ah well.

So the big things:

• I just realized that I don't think I ever shared the news that I'm an aunt again, and my little nephew Jack, was born a week and a half ago. My other sister-in-law will be having her baby (remember the baby shower?) sometime in the next week or so :) Hooray!

• TBF's birthday is this Sunday (May 9)! I may or may not have picked up a couple things at the mall for him...

and we may or may not be going to Blue 13 on Saturday evening (a fine dining and fun restaurant we saw on Check Please), and there may or may not be more surprises to come for the birthday boy...(hey, may seem like he did a lot but last year his birthday was overshadowed a bit by my graduation and he did a great job with my birthday this year)

• LAST but certainly not least, for the past couple of months, I've been considering doing a photo reveal but I always wanted to wait for a special occassion. Well, there really isn't a special occassion, but TBF suggested I do a VIDEO reveal and I think it's a good idea, but I think I'd like for it to be password protected somehow, just so I still have some sort of privacy from work, randos, etc. Is there any way to do that? On Youtube or another site?

I want to make it as easy as possible for followers, but just annoying enough so that the randos won't care to go the extra step to see a video reveal. I know, I overthink it, but I like my anonymity. :)

I tweeted about it last night, and Jenn seems to think it's a good idea. I'd love to hear your thoughts, too! I think it's about time that my blog friends get a better sense of who this invisible Freck is.
