I've been very productive today! I took a break earlier today and went for a nice long run on Lake Shore Drive, and it was beautiful out. It's odd to see ice on the beach when it's 64 degrees out.
I am pretty satisfied with the work I accomplished today, so now I'm browsing dresses online. I realized I should get another dress (even though I've put myself on a strict budget), because I graduate in May and I'm attending 4 weddings this summer. I know I will rewear my yellow J. Crew dress...
The silhouette on this dress is so perfect. The deep V neckline and back is very flattering and the bow tie hits at the most flattering spot on the waist.
I always think J. Crew dresses are the best investments for more formal occasions. They give a great shape, they're pretty reasonably priced and we love them so much so we wear them over and over.
This one has about the same shape as my yellow one, but it's less structured. $150. Thoughts?
The way this girl is standing really bugs me, but this dress is pretty cute.
$178. Are the ruffles too much? I'd have to try it on, but it's cute on her!

j.crew dresses are always good. you just can't go wrong! my bridesmaids wore the lydia dress for my wedding :) also...love the song. i could watch sister act like...100 times in a row and not get sick of it!
I love all of the colorful dresses! I feel like black is a little bit harsh for a summer wedding unless it's a black tie affair.
I love the yellow one! Anything with a ribbon or bow usually gets my vote :)

AHAHAHA I heart Sister Act 2 SO MUCH! :) And I am very happy this song fits you today :) I have the silk Sophia dress and I LOVE it! It fits perfectly and always looks wonderful. I have it in a kelly green color (from a few years ago) but I think I might get a new color for a wedding this summer in Milwaukee...let us know what you decide!!!
Hmm, apparently my comment didn't work the first time. Anyway - I LOVE the yellow dress! And the pink ones as well, of course. But they yellow is so classic and I think it'd be perfect for your event - so exciting to graduate!!
