Booyahhhhh!!!!

This morning I had a Booyah moment.

Or for those of you who aren't on the same page with me here...

Booyah moment:
-–interjection, verb (used without object), noun
When an event occurs that suddenly makes your day a little brighter during a time of frustration. Often used as an exclamation of pleasure, approval, elation, or victory.

Let me explain.

I was running a little late this morning because I couldn't find my other mustard yellow flat to wear since I refuse to wear my Uggs around work anymore , and it didn't help when the first thing I wondered to myself when I walked out my front door was if Chicago had once again turned into a frozen tundra of death. Echooooo! Is anybody out there!!?? I think my nose is confused because it did that thing where it kind of froze on the insides...my nose is not happy with me.

Anyway, so I'm walking up the L platform wondering if my left ear is going to fall off because I refuse to put my hood up in fear it would ruin my perfectly placed headband for once, and I look up to see the most beautiful brown line L train arriving onto the southbound platform. AND, not only was this PERFECT timing, but the train...was also....SOOO EMPTY!!!!!

BOOOYAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Now, for my fellow Chicago blogging/reading buddies, you know what I'm talkin' about. Empty train in the morning is the most glorious gift of all. Not only do you get to sit your freezing booty down, but we cannot forget how amazing it is to not have someone standing on top of you with their RedEye in your face or obnoxiously wacking you in the head.

So I know this is a major exaggeration, but I still can't pass it up. It's too funny.

Still, I was like Ralphie when he got his Red Ryder BB gun on Christmas morning when I saw that brown line coming to the rescue.

Oh AND I was on time for work!

That's all for now. Back to work :)
